Preinstalled on my spa. Easy connection to your phone and other devices. Press the button once to turn on the device, hold until the blue light flashes quickly to search for devices and the blue light is solid to confirm connection. A slow blue glow indicates the device is on but not connected. There's also no volume control on the block itself - you'll have to use your phone or some other device (a minor inconvenience). However, when something is out of range, it can sometimes be difficult to work with. The device sometimes flashes slowly and does not turn off. I had to unplug the device multiple times to turn it off and on again.
