This helps hide areas that you don't want to be visible. My lower abdomen seems less visible. I like that panties are attached to it. The material is very light and comfortable. At the end of the day, the shorts were washed and hung out to dry. You look brand new! They are great for water parkas, they don't ride up even when wet, just great!
