Review on πŸ‘– Indigo Blue Side Panel Skinny Ankle Length Denim Overalls for Women by Motherhood Maternity by Rhonda Green

Big girls with long bodies, one size bigger!

This jumpsuit is the most comfortable maternity wear I've ever seen. The elastic triangles on the sides are great, the denim material is soft and it's so nice not to have to worry about a proper belt. (And inexplicably, they look cute and flattering no matter your body type. Whoever designed them was a genius.) Only problem is the straps are way too short! For reference, I am 5ft 9in, 24 weeks pregnant and 153lbs. I ordered a medium size because I was a size 8 before pregnancy. The trousers fit perfectly at the hips, waist and legs. My Capri legs are mid-calf and I'm long-legged. But the straps were adjusted for maximum relaxation overall, and I just didn't have room for belly growth. They fit, but hardly. Pulling them up a few inches didn't seem to have any effect because when I left they just shrank back. I knew they would have a very short maternity shelf life if I kept them to myself, so I'm swapping them out for larger ones in hopes of getting an inch or two more in the straps or upper body fabric. I hope I'm not swimming in my pants. UPDATE: My theory is confirmed. Just got a big one. Even though my pre-pregnancy size was medium and the pants fit my usual size 8-10 perfectly, going up the next size gives me the space and strap length I need. The pants are a bit baggy in the front of the thighs and hips, but they look normal (just a slightly different cut) and are actually very comfortable when I sit down. Big girls, here's my verdict: these jumpsuits are amazing BUT if you plan to wear them into later pregnancy (mid-2nd trimester) I STRONGLY recommend appreciating them.
