I have a Brother DCP-L2540DW and have been using it for a little over 3 years. Lately I've been seeing black horizontal lines on printed papers. I've tried everything to improve it, but in vain. I've come to the conclusion that it's time to replace the drum. I have read reviews about this product, mostly good but some negative. I've tried it and it works great for me. I've been using it for 3 weeks and have printed over 200 pages so far with no problems. Pros: - Print maintenance web page shows correct information: drum * 11748 pages (% life remaining) (98.00%) - No error message on the LCD display, such as e.g. B. "Replace drum". I've seen some customers report these types of bugs. Cons: - Not sure if this is normal for a new drum. The print result is slightly lighter than the old original drum. People say that after resetting the drum, the supply voltage on the drum is adjusted (don't know how that works), which might result in an easier result.
