I wanted to wear a floor length bathrobe when I'm walking my puppy outside on a cold winter morning. This robe is perfect. After noticing from the photos in the listing that the larger the size, the longer the robe, I bought the XL even though it's larger than I usually wear because I needed a longer length. The XL is roomy and floor length for me (I'm 5ft 4" and of average build) and perfect for my needs. I also like the pockets in the side seams and the soft and cozy feel of this robe. Remember that if length is important to you, the larger the size, the longer the length.
