It was still warm when I gave these socks to my granddaughter, thinking she would wait for it to get colder and put on her long socks. I was so wrong. The next day I got a call that she can't wait to wear the animal socks, she really likes these socks. I am happy that she is happy. I gave them to her in August, I saw them again in October and the color of the socks had faded so much I almost didn't recognize them but she was still wearing them and I think that's all that matters .
