These are really great little lipstick tubes. The lids are tight and I haven't had any problems with them. They have a swivel mechanism and it works well. I've already used up all those tubes. Lots for me, lots for friends and family. I labeled some of them and left others as is. Since they are transparent you can see what's inside, so I just used different natural colorings for different recipes and just knew what was in each one by the color. I had a problem cleaning them. I boiled them for 4 minutes while reading, this is a great way to sanitize the shampoo tubes, but then the water got into the bottom where the swivel mechanism is and it was very difficult to get it out. Therefore, when cleaning, do not use the boiling method, as it is very difficult to remove water from it. And you don't want water mixing with your oils. That way they go moldy faster. Make sure there is no water in it before you fill it! When I filled them I used a rubber band for about 10-15 of these tubes at a time and it worked perfectly so none fell off. I used a funnel to get the product into the tubes.
