Great value for money

I bought these based on other people's reviews, I usually use the Paul C Buff for all my softbox needs and at best I'm hard to please with the build quality and materials used. When I received them I was pleasantly surprised. The material of the box itself is of good quality, it feels comfortable, not hard or flimsy, but still durable. The diffuser cloth is probably at the bottom of the cloth, but it will still get the job done with very useable results. The velcro used on the diffuser works well and I'm not worried about its holding power. The net fits well and seems to be made of a good fabric. A lot of people seem to have trouble with the assembly and I don't know why, this assembly is like any other softbox that is NOT an umbrella type. I literally assembled mine in 10 minutes for both of them. The rods have tips on both ends but the tips are different sizes, the small tip goes in the softbox and the larger tip goes in the Bowens mount. When you have placed all 4 wands in the softbox, place them face down on the table, reach through the Bowens mount hole and take the wand, put it in the mount and do the same the next staff that is on the same end . Take the 3rd rod and place it in the Bowens mount. Now the 4th bar is the hardest as there is already tension on the box to shape and the 4th bar seems too long which it isn't. Hold the 4th rod with one hand just below the tip, push on the rod so it starts to bend, with the other hand grab the Bowens mount and align the rod with the hole where it is you want to introduce them. I know it's gonna be at a weird angle. Once these 2 parts are aligned, start using the Bowens mount and the rod to push down on the table AT THE SAME TIME and guide the rod into the mount. You just have to push down to move it about 2-3 inches toward the table and the pole slides right in. I am happy with the purchase and will see what other items they offer if needed.
