My computer workstation has the monitor, keyboard and speakers in front of me, but the computer is on the floor a few feet away from me. So I need to run all the cables from the computer to the desktop, including the audio cable for the speakers. To make it a bit more difficult, I alternate between using headphones and listening to speakers, so I often unplug my speakers and plug in my headphones and vice versa. Frequent plugging and unplugging has caused some cables to fail over time and I hope this Kinps 3.5mm extension cable will last at least as long as cheaper cables, if not more. My photo shows the various connectors on my desk. However, I've only had this Kinps cable for a few weeks, so it's hard to assess its durability. He seems really well built and I love the flexibility of his fabric jacket. The connectors at each end appear to be good and solid, confirming my expectations for the cable's longevity. The sound quality with this Kinps 3.5mm extension cable is excellent, with no static electricity or interruptions. The music (mostly what I listen to) is clean with no distortion. The Kinps 3.5mm 6 foot extension cord was just the right length for my application. So far this Kinps 3.5mm extension cable works exactly as it should for me. It looks and feels like a quality product so I'm hoping it will last me a few years.
