I bought this item to use in bed and I am really happy with it. I used my laptop while propped up on a pillow, which caused me neck and shoulder pain, as well as obvious ergonomic issues. I spend a lot of time in bed writing, playing guitar, typing on my laptop, drawing, sketching and yes, eating. The tilt lock allows the table top to be tilted from flat to 45° with two intermediate stops. The 45° stop is great for reading or for me using music software on my laptop while playing guitar. I like this tray for many reasons: the height and tilt adjustment is very easy to set up and rock solid, the top is very strong (Formica?), smooth taped edge, the top of the tray "stops" (to store stuff). from slipping) durable and easily removable for cleaning, 7" wrist rest provides extra comfort (removable too), legs fold in easily, wide and stable support provides plenty of legroom as well as height adjustment as the legs are independent so it straightens at the touch of a button. The developers did a great job and obviously did a lot of testing before they launched it. I am very happy with this purchase. In my opinion it is also excellent quality, ease of use and feature rich design.
