Review on Portable acoustics Marshall Acton II, 60 W, brown by Mateusz Rzeczycki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

This speaker is wonderful in every way, and I've wanted to get it for a long time. To begin, Marshall's retro aesthetic is fantastic; it's almost artistic in its own right. Second, it is small and unobtrusive, so it can be placed practically anywhere. Thirdly, the sound has impressed me greatly; it is of very good quality, quite pleasing, and the bottom notes are especially clear. Funny as it may seem, I ranked "sound" third since it is less important to me than the speaker's overall aesthetic appeal. If the speaker's aesthetics and primary purpose are both essential to you, go ahead and buy this one; you won't be disappointed. She justifies her wealth.

Pros
  • Sound quality, design, and volume for such a compact speaker. The Bluetooth connection worked perfectly.
Cons
  • I was hoping an auxiliary cable would be part of the bundle. It seems reasonable to implement it, given that it already has an input. It's a shame the toggle switch wasn't kept from the first edition into the second; in addition to looking and sounding better, it added a unique sonic signature to the device.
