Review on Sennheiser CX 80S In-Ear Headphones with One-Button Smart Remote - Black: A Powerful Sound Experience by Bambang ᠌

Its impossible to use it, dont waste your money.

I bought in amazon, so I'm sure it's not a fake. Price 1400 without bonuses, bought for 700, it would be better to spend bonuses on IE-4 .) These are my third Sennheiser CX series headphones. Before that there were CX-100 and CX-300II. By the way, both those and those were already much more than a year old. Usage scenarios - plugs for video conferencing and listening to music in the evenings with a simple FiiO E10K DAC, so I expected sound at the level of CX-100. I absolutely do not need a microphone, the built-in laptop does an excellent job. The main requirement was the sound, it should be better or at the level of decent TWS and even the CX-100 coped with this perfectly. A few words about sound. Before writing a review, 'warmed up' for 5 hours. I didn’t warm up for a day or more, for 5 hours the sound didn’t change much, I think everything will remain in place in a day. The sound, as for me, is dirty here, the headphones constantly lisp a little, 'hiss', cut the ears. Bass - forget it. With the bundled ear pads, the headphones feel like earbuds, not plugs, there is an order of magnitude less passive noise isolation (((Where are my simply gorgeous ear pads from the CX-300II. The CX-100 also hissed compared to the CX-300II, but there was an almost twofold difference in price. Here, there is certainly no such difference in price, while the scale of the tragedy is even greater. FLAC does not help here, and who will listen to FLAC in them?) It seems this is the first time I have not heard a difference from MP3. As a result, if you don’t need a microphone, it’s better to buy headphones that cost 800 initially, you won’t feel the difference. If a microphone is needed, it seems to be quite good, but I can’t really say anything.

Pros
  • ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, seriously) Unless the microphone can be attributed to the pluses, it is, and not entirely hopeless.
Cons
  • The sound is terrible for the price If the earpiece also falls off in a month like the others, it will be a complete fiasco
