Review on 🏞️ Dimmable Outdoor Downlight Recessed by Hykolity by Angela Simmons

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Let's see if they last longer than "New York Minute "

Over the last few years I've bought various LED bulbs: Corn, GE Stick, Westinghouse which look like regular bulbs and BR30. There were (discontinued) GE Light Sticks I bought from Sam's Club over 4 years ago and they didn't disappoint. I've used indoors and outdoors (Colorado weather can range from 100Β°F to -30Β°F and they've been reliable performers; I leave the outdoor lights on from 12pm to 2pm every night. I have 10 corn LEDs for the new ones Bought trailers coming out 3,000 hour failure (manufacturer said "50,000"), open bottom, down lights (I know that heats up); Revain fixed (THANK YOU!) as they were about 14 months old when they started to fail and they are no longer available I had BR30s fail after 3000 hours (out of 50000) The problem is I have to replace ALL the bulbs when one fails if I don't have the same one Brand have regardless of wattage/color temperature from other suppliers They vary and I blame Made in China other groups and you could easily mix/match GE had their lighting division in Ohio - Made in USA LEDs come and go in less than a year and they don't always meet their durability requirements and the brightness/temperature in Kelvin although they read the same thing are different so you will notice a difference. Sure, I could buy Cree and cash out the IRA. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. If they start failing and I win the PowerBall, Cree will get a good contract, but I have no idea if Cree is better, just more expensive. LEDs are NOT EXPENSIVE. Only time will tell if they will honor their stated guarantee. Let's see if they're still on sale in 12 months and I'm getting over 3000 hours.
