Review on 🎮 Afterglow Prismatic LED Wired Controller for Xbox One - Multicolor by Tim Jolivette

I've wanted one of these for a long time, I finally bought it and so far it's great! I was a little apprehensive as there seem to be mixed reviews, but I have no complaints. All buttons are very responsive, easy to press and have a full range of motion. Please note that this is a wired controller only and will not work unless connected to a network, unlike standard Xbox controllers. There are 4 LEDs attached to the control board, they are very bright and emit very bright colors. You can also customize the color very easily from the PDP app. You choose a color on the color wheel. You can also adjust the intensity of the lights if it's too bright for you, or you can turn them off altogether. I have included photos of just a few colors to show the brightness. Note that my room is bright so they don't look as bright as they really are. I've been using my standard Microsoft Xbox One controller for a number of years and switching to this hasn't been an issue. They look almost identical, the only obvious difference being the Xbox home button. On this controller, the home button is rounded and not backlit. Otherwise they are the same size and all the buttons are in the same place. The PDP app is also right on the Xbox store and very easy to use. Through the application, you can remap buttons, update firmware, run diagnostic tests, etc. Very convenient. I will update if anything goes wrong with this controller but for now I LOVE this controller and I'm glad I bought it!
