First I bought the small shelf when it was 50% off and after I got it I wanted to see what the big shelf looked like so I bought it too. The shelf comes well packaged with clear assembly instructions. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. It's very light, but the screws that hold it together after the pieces are snapped together make it less fragile than I thought. I needed a shelf to the side of the sink in a half bath because the soap and lotion bottles didn't fit well on the pedestal sink and kept getting knocked over. A large shelf is actually not much higher than a small one, it's just wider. Also, the small one is ultra white, the large one is cream, a little difference but I can see it. These are great cheap shelves for my purpose, but all in all I don't think they're worth charging full price. Both times I bought them with a voucher and I think it was a good deal for what you get.
