Review on Grave Before Shave Cigar Blend by Julie Lorig

After years of working with strict facial hair care guidelines, I've finally been able to grow a beard. I was tired of things looking dry and torn at first, so I decided to take a closer look at balms and oils. I'll be honest, I haven't really done much research. I just typed "beard oils" and "beard balm" into Revain's search function and chose that because I liked the logo design. Luckily, this "shoot from the hip" solution worked really well. After a few weeks of use (combined with the same scented beard balm and boar bristle brush) my beard is softer and looks much more groomed. The aroma of "Cigar Blend" is not overpowering in any way and lingers gently throughout the day. I've seen others comment that the scent is definitely more "vanilla" than anything else. While I still enjoy the smell, I wish it had something more to live up to the 'Cigar Blend' moniker. Anyway, the taste reminds me more of those cheap "Black&Mild" cigars you see at gas stations. However, I will definitely be sticking with this brand for a while and intend to explore other flavors soon.
