I've had to wait a bit to write this review as a big problem has solved itself. The case itself is a basic, no-frills iPad Air case. So it serves its purpose perfectly. The case is fairly thin and likely offers minimal drop protection, but it works well for storing the iPad in a briefcase or bag. The only major issue was the smell of the suitcase when unpacking. This thing stunned! I'm not sure if it was the plastic used, the case's inner lining, or something else, but it was so awful that I ended up trying to wash it. Then I sterilized it with cologne. All for free. However, after 2-3 weeks the smell has disappeared over time, so far there is no unpleasant smell at all. So for a very cheap basic iPad Air case, this is a good case. Just keep in mind that you might need to let it air out for a few weeks before deciding to carry it around.
