I have had an armchair for three years. In the first year the mesh backing began to tear against the hard plastic. Plastic can also collect lint and dust and needs to be cleaned regularly. In the second year, the pitch began to fail, eventually failing to engage. Now he leans freely. In the third year, one of the levers began to click. Today he sometimes pinches my hands when I put them on him. I've had chairs in the past that cost half the price and lasted much longer. If you're looking for something cheap, there are cheaper options. If you're looking for something good that will last, this isn't it.
