I've been wearing the NB Fresh Foam LAZR V2 for two weeks now (October 5th 2020). I wear them on brisk morning walks in my neighborhood (3.3 miles, 16 minutes per mile). The first impression is the very comfortable Fresh Foam cushioning. They're more comfortable than sneakers that cost double or triple the price of adidas and On Cloud. I first replaced the thin insole (more of an insole) for my first 3 mile run with another pair of thicker NB insoles - it was totally unnecessary and my little toes were nagging against the edges. I returned the original insoles which offered a much better fit. Speaking of fit, these shoes have an interesting integrated tongue design that gives the shoe a one-piece upper. The original laces fit perfectly and provide a good fit, but I decided to replace them with laceless Hickies elastics. The sole purpose of this change was to make these shoes slip-on. With an NB Hypoknit upper and integrated tongues, the Hickies straps work together to provide the perfect fit, better than any other application I've tried in the past - full grain leather, leather/fabric combo, synthetic upper, etc. NB Fresh Foam LAZR is now my favorite hiking shoe. I will update my review in a few months and miles.
