I needed a new set of wrist guards for my keyboard and mouse at work and came across this set. When I first received the product I noticed that the packaging was pretty crappy. The set was wrapped in plastic and then taped again and again at the ends (see attached picture). At that moment I thought I was getting a defective product. However, after a few weeks of using the product, I can honestly say that this is not the case. The keyboard and mouse pads are very durable. The fabric top of the wrist pads is very soft, but if you have hot hands expect extra warmth on your wrists as the fabric retains heat really well. On the other hand, the product claims to be memory foam and since I haven't opened the pads I can't confirm that. The good news is that unlike memory foam, the foam doesn't stick to my wrists. All the foam eventually returned to its place. This is good because the height of the pads matches the height of my keyboard perfectly. I have no wrist issues with this product. When I press on the pads it appears that there is very hard gel at the bottom of the pad, about a quarter of an inch high, and then memory foam. On the opposite side of the pad is a rubber that looks like neoprene. I have a very shiny table and I have found that these pads don't move at all. This is a huge plus as I've had issues with the pads slipping when I'm constantly moving to type or move my mouse. As a result, my wrists don't hurt at all from the movement. The only real downside I've found is that the material picks up dust really well, so have a lint roller handy. PROS: ■ Soft material ■ Memory effect ■ Foam returns to its original position ■ Extra grippy bottoms ■ Great height for keyboard and mouse ■ No wrist pain or fatigue CONS: ■ Dust bag (keep a lint roller handy) ■ Poor packaging ■ Starts warm
