Those are good helmet locks. I've had one on Ultra for a few years. It works well! Just got it for my R1200RT and it installed in minutes! In my opinion, this is a lot better than lugging a cable with me and taking the seat off every time I need to attach the helmet to the bike. Kuryakyn is known for its good products because they are well designed and do their job perfectly. I assume this will hold up for years to come. I think there are cheaper versions out there, but I'm not risking my helmet to save a few bucks. It is simply mounted on the frame tube or protective tube. I would recommend putting a few drops of engine oil on the locking mechanism during installation to prevent corrosion. The rest shouldn't be a problem. The set includes 2 keys stamped with "Kuryakyn". Easily found on a keychain.
