Overall this has protected my phone very well for over 2 years now. However, the plastic screen was covered in scratches for 2 years. I recently had to take the case off and rediscovered how good it is, so I was becoming more concerned that the case's screen was so grainy. I guess you could probably carefully remove the plastic screen and use another small screen protector, but I wanted to stick it on because the curved edges on these phones are horrible to find a screen protector to stick to. . pleased with the protection this case offers. I accidentally broke the bevel of the plastic holding the screen protector but I've been using it for 10-11 months now and it's ok because the back pivots and keeps everything securely in place. The only downside is that the plastic screen protector scratches very easily. Oh, and the back of the case, where the kickstand slides out, gives you access to the back of the phone. So if you live in a place where there's a lot of sand or a lot of dirt or something else around you, there's a chance it could get into the back of the case and scratch the rear window. However, if you keep your phone in your purse/bag a lot, I think it will be fine. (Source: 4 Trips to the Beach, where I only covered it in sand once after throwing it straight onto the fine sand)
