I first bought an adjustable Arus cape in size L/XL (light blue) to replace the one I had for several years which was also L/XL (still in good condition; just wanted a new color). L/XL was exactly the same as the previous one. However, I then decided on a size S/M (in pink), which I didn't even order because I was unsure about the S/M part. I've lost 30 pounds since my original order a few years ago - 5ft 5in, now 145 - and have found that S/M fits slightly better than L/XL. Size S/M is slightly shorter and hugs the knee. and about 2 inches less where the velcro connects. Both work great at my current weight (145), although I prefer the smaller length (a few inches longer). The colors I ordered are lovely pastels and wash/dry excellently too.
