Great headset, nothing to complain about

I bought this headset to replace my ASA PNR headset that I used as a student pilot. I got tired of having a clip-on headset and, being a relatively tall person, I often bumped the top of the headset against the airplane ceiling. (PA-28-140) I had a choice between them and Clearance Aloft, but I have smaller ear canals and didn't want to rely solely on PNR anymore, especially when I put long foam plugs in my ear canals. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the ANR works in this headset and how well it sits on my head and in my ears. The ear tips come in 3 sizes and come with both foam and silicone tips. Although I would like the "wing" on the headphones to be different sizes as well, similar to what you would see on the Samsung IconX or Galaxy Buds. It helps keep the earbuds in place, but the small silicone ring that's pressed against my ear for a while can be a little annoying, but at least not painful. I use small foam tips, they work well. I'll probably buy tips from Competit once I'm done with the boxed ones. As an aside, the tip/flange of the earbuds that the earbud sits on is not round, but rather oblong. So make sure the earbuds are positioned correctly, otherwise they may feel uncomfortable. It also makes finding replacement tips more problematic. In terms of audio clarity and noise cancellation, I have no problem listening to radio shows or talking to others on the plane, but I did need to up the noise cancellation a bit compared to my old headset. Maybe this mic isn't that sensitive, but with adjustment it works well. Only PNR fits and it works without battery. But the headset really shines with activated ANR. It's twice as quiet as my old headset. I can still hear the sound of the motor enough to know if something is going wrong, but even at full power it's amazing how quiet they actually are. The ANR behaves a little strangely with the windows open as the pressure and noise are different and I don't think they are to blame. But after a few moments it goes back to normal and otherwise works fine. The only small complaint I can have concerns the settings. It can be a challenge to get everything out of the bag without ripping out the headphones or putting the mic where it will stay. I had to bend the ear cups inwards a bit to put enough pressure on my head so the mic boom doesn't move when I look in a different direction. In addition, there is a cable clip that can be attached to your seat belt or shirt to keep it from slacking on the cable and preventing the headset from being yanked from your head. Not enough to give a star as this is a common trait for this headset design, it's just something to keep in mind. Overall, I'd recommend this so far, but I'd be careful not to let the cords twitch. I'm not sure how durable the tiny cables going to the headphones are.
