
It worked as advertised for some initial test runs as I monitored the battery until it discharged to the set cut off point set according to the label on the simple DIP switch matrix. As a note, however, lithium batteries tend to "jump back" from cut-off voltage - up to 1 volt! The maximum DIP switch setting that allows the voltage to "return on" is 12.8 volts. When the shutdown DIP switch was set to 12.1 volts, it first shut down at 12.1 volts as planned, but then the battery recovered within 20 seconds and temporarily restored 13 volts, forcing the load to work again. So I had to choose a dip switch setting to shut down at a lower voltage (11.4V) so the battery wouldn't recover to a level higher than the 12.8V dip switch setting was 11.4V up to about 12.4V - for no apparent reason! I'm too scared to keep using it.
