My 4 year old uses it with no problem.
I love these little walkie talkies. I bought it specifically for my 4 year old and he was able to figure it out after a few demos. The battery life seems really good. We accidentally left it on overnight and still had a good charge. Haven't tested the distance to the limit yet, but what we have is no problem. A little light is a nice bonus.
