I've been using my wireless desktop computer for about a week now and overall I'm very happy with it. Firstly, the setup is very easy and only took a few minutes. The software was also updated to the latest version after installing the CD, which was nice (finding drivers and updates can be a real headache). cable, it really freed up some space on my desk. The keyboard feels pleasant - a bit soft, but pleasantly quiet as a result. The keyboard has foldable risers on the bottom that provide two positions for the keyboard; With the stand down, the keyboard tilts down a bit, which could be more ergonomic as the wrists are in a flatter position. With the stands up, the keyboard is roughly level or maybe angled a degree or two. I find the latter position more comfortable. The key layout is pretty good, with some quirky touches like the big delete key and the home/end/page up/down keys on the far right of the QWERTY keyboard taking a bit of getting used to. . The function keys, exit key, and insert/scroll/lock screen and pause keys are half-height, which can bother people who use them a lot, but that doesn't bother me. The keyboard offers some nice additions, too, with a row of tiny function keys that include quick access to specific functions like zooming and rotating on the right, and access to a full set of audio control keys on the right. Many of these keys, as well as the entire top row of function keys, are programmable with the included software, so you can use them to launch your favorite apps or perform other functions. However, some functions cannot be programmed due to software limitations, and some commands cannot be executed due to software limitations; For example, I wanted to program the home button to perform the "Show Desktop" function, but since button programming requires actual button presses, every time I tried to program it, I minimized all windows. It would be better to program sequentially to get more complex macros. My biggest gripe with the keyboard at the moment is that the actual QWERTY portion of the keyboard feels a bit smaller than my previous full-size keyboard. As a result, my touch input is disabled and I'm looking at the keyboard more to fix the problem. I'll certainly get used to it, but for a keyboard with this much space, it's a little annoying that the keys I use most often aren't quite full-size. The mouse is much better than I expected. I actually bought this set to replace an old Logitech wireless mouse that I liked but broke after years of service. I expected a lot less to like this mouse and while it doesn't quite live up to the standards of some of the more expensive mice (mice) out there, it's pretty good. The size is comfortable and the weight adds just enough weight without being too heavy. Complementing the two standard buttons is a scroll wheel with click buttons and side buttons, both of which are programmable. For example, I set Tilt Left as "Back" and Tilt Right as "Forward" for web browsing and Wheel Flick as "Minimize" for easier app switching. Again, these functions can be programmed to a large number of preset functions or can be set to certain (but not all) key combinations. Overall this is once again a very good wireless keyboard and mouse set for the price. The keyboard and mouse feel durable enough to withstand years of rough handling.
