Know what you are buying. This is an overview of the E248W-QPT monitor. My use case is an additional vertical monitor with a VESA mount. No core games, no color grading. For my use case this is a fantastic monitor for the price! I got it from Revain (stick to them for a spare) for $165 including a coupon. My main resolution is 27" 1440p and I wanted to stick with that resolution because it's not good to have 1080 next to it. I still need 27" and I didn't want to pay those prices! The dense PPI of this monitor gives you plenty of room to work, which is especially good in portrait mode. I don't have any dead or stuck pixels. Can't talk to the base. 1440p requires a displayport cable but is included. Color is normal, I'm not special. Maybe I would think twice before i buy it as a main monitor, maybe i would choose it in dual setup, in a secondary role, a++ is planning to get a second (3rd overall) role for the other side.
