My wife and I just replaced our bathroom fixtures. She said she wanted the brightest lightbulbs I could find at a low price. These lamps appeared to fully meet these requirements. I installed new lights, put in new lightbulbs and. Okay, remember Clark Griswold's neighbors were blinded by his Christmas lights? If you want something bright, be careful what you ask for. After being slapped in the face by the full illumination of these 6 bulbs, my wife forced me to use lower wattage bulbs from other places in the house for our new lights. These lightbulbs made her react similarly to Julia-Louise-Dreyfus over the Christmas holidays. So now our single bulb interior vent lights were loaded with those super bright bulbs (which should have been brighter anyway), as were the bulbs in a few random table lamps around the house. Everything worked fine and my wife and I are happy about extra lumens where I installed them. The only thing that matters is that I think they could be a bit whiter than the advertised 3000K color temperature. I was expecting a little more warmth in the hue but they are more like fluorescent lights or maybe direct sunlight. Next time I order tubes I think I'll look for a 2700K kit. But since I have no way of measuring the color temperature, I give the Great Eagle a full 5 stars in case of doubt. And at least they're not blue.
