Review on Siamod CARUGETTO Detachable Briefcase 45294 by Mark Harrison

I ordered this to replace my former trolley laptop bag (black, McKlein Chicago series) which I have been using for over 5 years. On the old bag, the telescoping handle finally stopped moving out and I was fed up with the black color. Some of the features I particularly wanted included quality materials, smooth-rolling, quiet wheels, a removable wheelbase, a 17" laptop, and a HOCH telescoping handle (my pet has to bend down to get the handle on a suitcase when he tips over on wheels ) My finalists were this Siamod model, another Siamod case (Ceresola Vernazza model) and the McKlein West Town 15704 S series choosing one of them can go wrong. It has fewer compartments than my old McKlein suitcase, but that's ok as it's also lighter and less bulky (the old one definitely didn't fit the ceiling). I think it will fit under the seat in front of me on most planes, but that wasn't a specific goal and I don't mind checking at the entrance if necessary. The only downside for me is that it takes TWO hands to fully lower the telescoping handle. With one hand you can take it down a notch (by pressing down with your thumb while pressing down on the handle), but then it will stop. To lower it even further, you need to press the small silver button on the handle next to the body while squeezing the handle. However, I expect it may take some getting used to and if I need to pick up my case and move it I can do so by just lowering the handle one notch so I'll probably be fine. It's just different than what I'm used to. Another caveat: while the size suits me (fits my 17" laptop as well as the power cord, mouse, notepad, pens, etc.), it holds a lot less than my old bag. Apart from a laptop I can comfortably only fit about 5 files in it (compared to 10-15 files in my old suitcase). So if you are looking for something like a complete mobile office this might be too small. Very nice finish .No detail is missing.was overlooked.
