these pajama pants ("casual pants”) are very close to what I was looking for, but apparently the style now is to have them so long, that they are well below your heels as shown in the picture even if you are wearing shoes - I am 5ft 11 inches tall. Only if you were significantly taller than 6 feet it wouldn't be. I was able to roll them up on the "cuff" so they get in the way a little less. But what you get is what you see and the waist size was about what I would expect if it were a plus size. I have a waist size of around 35 or 36 and it was just perfect. The tie on them is a nice addition. So overall I'm satisfied, but not overwhelmed.
