Review on Old Timer 158OT Guthook Skinner by Tony Francis

I ordered a deer hatchet because my pocket knife didn't have a proper hook and was cumbersome to use as it had a thin handle. The knife arrived very blunt. I was able to get a good lead and turned to hook. It's angled at an odd angle and is very narrow, so it was difficult to even try to get an edge on it. I've been trying for an hour with a diamond file but the angle is too wide and a file is required to do a really good job. The problem is there isn't much metal on the hook so it won't work well. The handle was comfortable, but the knife itself felt cheap (which it is). I sent it back for a better quality knife.
