This device was purchased to give our FIRST robotics team a 'vision' when developing prototypes. This allows us to try different camera positions during development and our students can also experience driving our old "demo" robots. The camera is connected to a receiver connected to a Win10 laptop that mimics our video configuration during the competition. The system performs with a good "wide" vision, comparable to a device required for "official" competition use. The resolution is good enough for our purposes - probably not good enough for a high quality drone camera. There are some small dropouts when moving behind walls (metal internal structures in our lab), but these are generally acceptable. The programming guide is helpful and correct. At the highest power settings, the board gets quite hot. At the lowest settings, this is acceptable, but the dropout rate increases. All in all, a cost-effective solution for our needs.
