Review on Enhanced Logitech G13 Programmable Gameboard featuring LCD Display by Stanislaw Mirzalek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

I took it exclusively under lightromm and photoshop, especially starting from version 5.0 and higher; where they removed the ability to navigate through the menus and tabs from the full screen to get to the desired filter. assigned the appropriate combinations to all the necessary filters to call them, and, in combination with the default ones, their number reached a crazy limit. started searching for a programmable keyboard. the choice is not great. wanted midi only under lightroom in combination with paddy. but then it was not entirely clear how to link it with photoshop. decided on this one. because universal. At about the same time, a mouse was also purchased with the possibility of programming and with profiles. I work on 2 monitors, on the 2nd all panels and auxiliary information. What can I say, I'm still getting used to it, although it's already easier and better. shovel in a day 1-1.5 tons of ravines taken on the machine, i. E. from frame to frame, you need to correct both the BB, and the exposure, and the curves, and separately the saturation in colors with the alignment of the horizon is no longer so painful. earlier it could take 2-3 days. now for 5-6 hours is real. while after work you do not feel disgust for keyboards and computers in general. comfort has increased. retouching the skin and editing the female figure is now generally perceived as a "musical pause" and a break. I leave these manipulations at the end of the working day. the content aware fill or crop operation has become a tool. liquify, where constant zooming, changing the diameter of the brush, freezing / thawing masks, and erroneous pressing sometimes leads to a freeze and loss of results, now works as a mind control. but all the same, neither under the shop, nor under LR, all the keys with subprofiles M1-M3 were not enough. I had to set one more profile and switch to them manually. but more convenient than before. essential. As a bonus, I removed all the icons from the desktops and assigned everything to the keys. in general, clave for the pros, "camouflaged" by marketers as a gambling one. for two scroll wheels instead of a joystick, I would be ready to pay 2-3 times more.

Pros
  • pleasant materials of manufacture; weight - stands on the table confidently, it is difficult to move during work; visual and convenient software; long thick but soft wire; many function buttons themselves; a screen with the ability to select a color for the corresponding profile / subprofile; if properly configured, the screen displays the transition to the corresponding profile. as well as the running command; also with the color of the screen, the color of the keys changes; joystick, if anyone can think of a use for it; the ability to assign keys not only to keyboard shortcuts, but also to launch applications, links, bookmarks, etc.; assignment of keys on the go; auto-switching to the desired profile at startup / switching to the corresponding program; internal memory - you can leave all profiles there and not worry about them, say, when reinstalling the system; not entirely inadequate price; when properly configured, it really speeds up and facilitates the work; looks good and glows.
Cons
  • not always confident operation of the keys; not everyone will like the sound and stroke of the keys, but this is only if you just press them when it comes to work, this is not felt; the keys themselves are too much, and this despite the fact that there are submodes M1, M2, M3, and so . the buttons themselves could be made smaller and larger in size, and there are more submodes M; joystick . it's good that it exists, but it's really difficult to come up with an application for it, two scroll wheels would be more appropriate (vert. / hor.); even having written all the necessary commands for all programs, purely ergonomically, you still sometimes have to look into the cheat sheet where something is assigned, because. Well, there are a lot of buttons, but even so, they are still missing sometimes.
