Gift Wrap is Gift Wrap

The paper really wrapped all the right items. When using tape, it even stayed wrapped until the recipient ripped the wrapping paper to open the gift. Wrapping paper is perhaps the most ingenious invention of all time. This is totally unnecessary, but as a society we decided that giving a gift without decorated paper would be completely ridiculous. I'd say an old paper would do, but here in 2021 not everyone gets a paper anymore so the theory is being debunked (AT LEAST RECENTLY. The 90's have no excuse). Nowadays people can just use old amazon boxes or literally leave it in the amazon box where it came from since everyone is ordering there anyway (here? wow, meta). a roll that can cover about 50 presents, so hey, no big deal. The real problem is that since you're only gifting that person 2 or 3 times a year, you have to stick with Sophie's decision: buy wrapping paper that person will love, or buy something more versatile that you can use with people without shame . The first option you hold onto is, say, FROZEN wrapping paper, which will take up space in your home for YEARS until you're done with it. It's like hey it's so cheap I should just throw it away but then again you know you'll end up using it so you'll have to live with it laying around for a few years. With the second option, you run the risk of underplaying. NOW it SHOULD NOT be, but the crazies that we humans are will actually judge humans by the type of wrapping paper we use and the beast of burden in us wants to get along to get along. I guess another story for another time. It should also be noted that Frozen 2 is better than the original, let's be honest with ourselves.

Pros
  • All Hallmark gift wrap is made with high quality paper materials and uses paper from well managed forests Made in the USA from European paper
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
