With two wall mounting studs they seem strong enough for any bookshelf speaker but that's too much for me. (Not a complaint, but don't buy this for fancy surround speakers.) The pivot point is approximately 8 inches from the wall, allowing speakers over 12 inches deep to weigh forward, putting stress on the terminal screws.
