Review on Mount Universal Clamping Bookshelf Mounting by Jeff Rubio

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very strong steel construction

With two wall mounting studs they seem strong enough for any bookshelf speaker but that's too much for me. (Not a complaint, but don't buy this for fancy surround speakers.) The exterior is functional, with clean welds and edges. Installation was easy, with all the necessary screws and drywall anchors included. You'll drill holes for one or both of the drywall anchors and bolt guide holes. The L/R and U/D rotations work well with my modest speakers, but the position must be held in place with a nut (a wrench is provided) so frequent repositioning can be tedious (or a castellated nut can be replaced with a wing nut will). ). The pivot point is approximately 8 inches from the wall, allowing speakers over 12 inches deep to weigh forward, putting stress on the terminal screws. Well made product, following instructions and production.
