Fur. Definitely not worth the $160

INTRODUCTION: I've been looking for TWS headphones for a long time as I got tired of untangling and fumbling with the cables on my current IEMs several times a day. They sound good enough for my use of mainly podcasts when I'm on the go and music when I'm studying, but most importantly they're comfortable and about 7-8/10 isolating. I have a $50 pair, a $100 pair, and a $130 pair on budget, and these are for now (reviews of all will be on my profile). Looking for the above comfort, good isolation and a sound that is not noticeably offended. However, at this price point, I'm looking for value for money in one form or another. AUDIO: I'm not a big audiophile but all I can say is that the bass was impressive but a bit muddy. The highs were smooth but not overly detailed, and I didn't listen to enough songs to make a deep impression in the mids. Overall not bad but not impressive for $160. It also had background hiss, which is present but not overly annoying. The only pair I've bought so far that didn't have background hiss was the $100 OneMore Stylish (the only company I've bought from that has solid audio product experience). FIT/TIGHT: I used my own single or triple flanged earbuds. Triple flanges offer better insulation but are a bit cumbersome. The "wingtips" didn't really slide where they should, so they just stuck out. The fit was ok, didn't insulate very well. It was like sitting at my computer and hearing them on my phone, and the outside noise was a little quieter. Like I'm standing by the door and listening to someone right on the other side. Not muffled, just a little quieter. Coming off my pair of wires, there was no insulation/comfort. APPEARANCE: Slightly bulky, slightly protruding from the ear. Looked cheap with shiny plastic near the stem. Doesn't feel premium for the price you pay. CALLS: I didn't even bother to do the test I've done with other pairs of TWS headphones, at that point I was kind of determined that this pair wasn't worth it and didn't want to keep it. All I'm saying is that when it comes to sound quality, most TWS headphones sound the same: they pick up good background noise and sound a bit loud. If you were to buy for voice calls at this price point I think you would be getting Airpods. As much as I hate Apple products, I know a lot of people buy them for the quality/talk time. BUTTON: Good that it's on top so you can press the button well without having to press it against your ear. Of all the headphones I've bought, the $130 pair was the only one that made the mistake of putting it on its side. I appreciate all of the features, but wish there wasn't a beep with each press. (By the way, "internal volume" as I call it, can't be turned down. So the beep and any other programmed sounds are the same volume no matter how far down you turn the headphone volume or the phone volume down. I think that's the only one Couple that didn't have this problem was more elegant but don't quote me on that) The noise wasn't too loud but it was annoying like when you want to change the volume/change the track you have to press a few times and listen You hear a sound signal for each step. Quickly annoying when playing at volume, pausing or changing tracks frequently. CHARGER CASE/BATTERY: Didn't keep it long enough to even know. The case was average/harmless. But I'm just asking. If Galaxy Buds, Airpods, and Sony all have less than 10 hours of battery life, what do they seem to do better? You've heard about the relatively long battery life of all these products made by brands I've never heard of. Either the big brands are holding us back, or these "nameless" headphones are very generous with their batteries. VERDICT: I've been happiest with the $100 oneMore Stylish headphones so far, but even then I was pretty critical. about you. I think I'll switch to the Sony WF1000XM3s. 1 more price level, hopefully some semblance of reasonable price compared to performance. I just don't see the value of this pair. This is very comparable to buds which are much cheaper.
