We love this bee but took 2 stars off because the bee didn't stay on my favorite piece and I had to sew it back on. I'm sure it will hold up now, but I don't think a new product should fall apart like that, especially since a child could get a rope in their mouth. At the very least, I need to re-center the bee. (That seemed a bit off-center to me, so if you have OCD, just brace yourself for the possibility. I doubt a kid will take care of it.) Minor downsides aside, this cutie is a nice weight and feel, and my little fella likes it cut on the wing! He looks so cute when holding it. Notably, the shell (but not the padding) is natural cotton and not fluffy like other lovers who shed tufts of fur. This is very important to me when I'm shopping in love! I thought my baby would miss the silky feel of our other babies but he still loves it even without the satin material. The label says to lay flat after washing, but I will use the dryer in a mesh laundry bag for protection. I just don't want to risk it not drying out completely, which I think could lead to mold or mildew over time if moisture persists. Overall I really like this honey bee for my little one and would recommend it to others. 💛
