I was looking for a quilt as I live in Hawaii and it should be 100% cotton. I wanted a plus size because I sleep in it and I wanted it to cover my legs completely from shoulders to toes. Normal throws just aren't long enough. I'm 5ft 6in and this is perfect for my needs! We have cool winters here so a blanket is needed but my husband is too hot to use it and the polyester is not breathable. This blanket is perfect! It keeps me warm when the weather dips into the 60's and he even flew with me to Minnesota in December and has kept me warm on the plane and in colder weather. I love it so much I ordered another one so I have one for guests. The colors match my phone exactly. and iPads. What I saw, I got. The blue, green, turquoise people complain about is actually the color of sea foam. No teal, no blue, no green. "I don't particularly like it and it looks nice. If my husband hadn't been so hot I would have gotten the bedspread right away! Many have complained that she is too thin, not enough cotton. I can tell you from a family of quilters. This is a typical blanket! Quilts don't have thick batting! If that's what you're looking for, buy a blanket. was my first store bought blanket as I needed it now and didn't want to wait for it to be made for me and that's how every blanket I've ever seen is made.
