I bought this to put in my new Pendleton bag. The perfect size, but because it's made from thick, heavy felt, it adds weight and volume to an already heavy bag. I think it's good that there are many compartments, but the height should be a little higher to accommodate the content better. The handles are annoying. There are also too many useless compartments that could only be used for lipstick or a roll of rollers or pens. Two of them will be enough. Multiple zippered compartments are welcome. My bag tipped over in the car and a large portion of the contents spilled out because the pockets weren't tightly closed, including cell phone and address book, wallet and check book. The space for the water tank is perfect for my glass display case. The insert fills the bottom of my bag, leaving enough room for items like a newspaper, book, or sweater. The insert is solid and well made, but the felt seems to make it a hair magnet. Maybe I liked the lighter nylon quilted version with the outside mesh pocket better.
