Nikon D600 and D750 sensors that have not been cleaned for over a year. Needless to say, the sensors on both were stained and required some maintenance. Just out of personal preference, I chose to use the Eclipse solution instead of the UES sensor solution that came with the tampons. It took me around 4-5 tries with each camera, but the UES dabs got the job done without damaging or scratching the sensors. Looking at the test images on a 24-inch monitor, I was pleased to see that 99% of the spots that bothered me were gone. The remaining 1% were very small, hard-to-see spots on the edges of the frame that were hardly anything to worry about. Just the appearance of the swab material looks like microfiber. It's wrapped in a vacuum bag, which I think is great for keeping it clean before use One thing I noticed during actual use was that the width of the swab was only slightly (<1mm) was smaller than that of the sensors on my D600 and D750, so there was a little "wiggle room" when you swipe across the transducer. This sometimes resulted in very small portions of the extreme edges of the sensor being left uncovered. In my experience, this hasn't been a chore, but it's worth bearing in mind if you're the type who just needs a swab to fit the sensor exactly.
