Review on πŸ– Grain-Free Pork for Dogs & Cats by Evanger's by Fatima Garcia

The food literally made my dog nauseous!

Not sure about all versions of this product but wet rabbit food for dogs and cats is terrible. It actually has little hard bones all over the jar. I didn't understand this at first because the ingredients don't specify the bones. My dog started throwing up horribly at various times and I thought the vet recommended natural herbs for her. So I stopped giving them to her. But the vomiting continued and began to occur daily and several times a day. The vet was trying to find out if this was health related as Evangers was supposed to be a good complete feed and at first we didn't think this was a problem. But my dog always had hard poop with this food and never had. So we realized the problem was the food. She was also gagging like something was in her throat and it must have been one of those hard bones. The bones are really hard. I picked some of them to squeeze and couldn't crush them. They claim their cooking process softens the bones, but out of the many bones I've tested in multiple jars, I haven't found any soft bones. This food literally gave my dog a tummy ache. Most dogs can't even eat bones, the vet told me, so I don't understand why Evangers didn't include bones in the ingredients list. I am very disappointed with this product and misinformation. There is no indication in the product description on Revain's website that this food contains bones. I had to do a google search to find out. My dog has suffered from this food and I have also suffered the trauma of seeing and knowing my furry child is going through this. I have now switched to Wysong and luckily there are no bones in the food. My dog has finally stopped having terrible vomiting. It was the worst dining experience we have ever had.
