To be honest they are not as pleasant as I remember them being. The material seems thin and the zipper is fine. The leather bottom is thick and nice, but the shoulder straps are very thin and short, and for a man with an athletic torso, I feel like I'm carrying a children's book bag. And maybe it's just me - the last time I owned one like this I was 14 years old. I use it as dad's diaper bag and it's ok for that, but if I wear it a lot I'd probably return it and buy something bigger from LL Bean or Duluth.
