I used to have a windscreen on my bike but I chose this one because I was tired of fighting the wind on long city rides. The windshield looks great and is very well made. I purchased the trigger lock attachment system separately and had no trouble attaching the windshield to the bike. First, the windshield let the wind blow right into my helmet. I think I didn't consider the seat height when looking at the windshield height. I've read that the height of the windshield should just cover the nose to avoid impact and improve aerodynamics. I liked the windshield and didn't want anything more like the Memphis Shade Del Rio, so I adjusted the windshield to tilt towards me and reveal my entire helmet. It seems to have helped and I had almost no impact and the wind resistance for my helmet was tolerable. Anyway, on the city streets I like to open a protective mask and bring some air to my face. Although the windshield definitely reduced the effect of the wind on the body! Long journeys are now more bearable and I am happy with my purchase! I wish I had even gone with that windshield.
