My Siberian Husky developed a callus on one of her elbows and would lick it to the point of bleeding so I needed a solution to help her heal. I've tried wraps but they didn't last long so I tried this product and it worked really well. She doesn't like wearing pads, but she agrees. They work very well on the lining of her elbows when she is lying on the tiles. My only gripe is that the strap has absolutely no flex on her shoulders so I have to be careful to adjust it properly. Too tight and she can't walk, too loose and the pads fall below her elbows. I also found that the clip has a locking position, which is good, but in case you don't know, it can add a few seconds of frustration when trying to unclip the strap. The good news is that it takes time, but her calluses are healing and she's even growing new hair on her elbow!
