Waited almost a year to check this. I have a 2012 VW Passat S. Bought these bulbs in December 2018. So let's get started. Brightness: The light is super bright! Now I see every crumb in the car compared to the stock halogen headlights. Cleaning the interior is a lot easier now that I can see almost every nook and cranny of the car. Gives a nice bright white color and not bluish white like some other brands. Make it a little more luxurious. Fit: Fits perfectly in my dome/map/reading lights (which was my intention. Haven't tried license plate or anywhere else). The size was very similar to the halogen so it didn't stick out or wobble in the case. Longevity: I have left these bulbs on for several hours many times when cleaning the interior or moving things and no failures/bugs. Still holding up strong. And yes, they can get hot for a long time, but most lamps are after you've used them for a while. They still haven't had any problems. Extra: They also include a built in canbus decoder so I didn't have any error codes or blinking/flickering like the previous set I had before. They also dim when the car is off and locked like my car with standard halogen. It's also nice to get compliments on how nice the interior looks with the lights on. Note: A bulb on the rear seats is orange because I left a halogen bulb there. Overall, I highly recommend this $20 product.
