Great item and definitely worth buying! It took me a while to understand that. It's a shame there were instructions included! Use the 8 screws at the bottom of your switch stand base. Tighten evenly on each side to keep the base secure and level. The bolt didn't go into the hole on the switch stem, so I used a pointed screw to drive it in where the hole in the switch matched. Insert spring. my . I had to use a short screw mount in the handle and then I had to back off maybe a quarter turn. It's tricky, I actually took this piece of plastic and rubbed it on the sidewalk until it was sanded enough. If it's not placed properly/on line it will either not go down far enough to shift or up enough to remove the key from the ignition. I would recommend not screwing in the screw from the top on either side. Just mount it close enough to the line that you can slide a screw in smoothly and test it. Then once you get the hang of it, insert the screw from the other side and tighten everything up. Should be fine. This switch solved the problem I had with my old switch. Should work on any machine with a button. I hope you don't fight as hard as me. Excellent purchase. Sorry I had to make a video (Edit:) After a while with the switch the more I used it the less the screw inside wanted to stay perfectly where I needed it so I just tightened the 2 screws I had had a grip so they were firmly gripped a small piece of plastic which is better than what I originally had. The only downside, haha, is if I'm moving too fast, like crashing my car into the park, the spring releases the grip because I just let go. But it easily slides back into place and everything is very solid/well made. I'm not sure how long I've had it but I still love it! Great buy, looks good and works great. I hope this helps someone.
