Review on 🎭 Glam Up Facial Sheet Mask BTS 12 Combo (Pack of 12) - Skincare for Hydration, Brightening, and Soothing - Beauty Mask For All Skin Types by Amy Wheeler

Pretty good for an inexpensive sheet mask

Most sheet masks in this price range are equivalent to swiping a wet washcloth on your face for 10 minutes: that is, they provide temporary hydration that dries slowly over the next few hours, and contains practical no active ingredients that could be of long-term value. With that in mind, the most you can expect from your budget sheet mask is (a) moist enough to temporarily hydrate and plump the skin, (b) not tear when unrolled, (c) not leave a sticky residue that feel uncomfortable. subsequently d) not cause breakouts due to mineral oil or other comedogenic ingredients. The good news is that this brand is comfortable to use and doesn't leave any stickiness on the skin. There are plenty of other budget Korean masks at Revain, and I've had bad experiences with a few (like the Dermal Korea brand, which manages to be both unnecessarily watery and inexplicably sticky on the skin). There were no rashes or dermatitis after using this brand. The sheet is strong enough to be folded up and used a second time with the remaining serum in the pouch. NOTE: Don't be fooled. Inexpensive sheet masks do not contain enough active ingredients to transform your skin, correct wrinkles or smooth its texture. They just don't. It doesn't matter how many fruits/vegetables you see on the packaging. (To transform your skin you need topical retinoids, which are available at your local pharmacy or dermatologist. If less, just spend money on desires.) But the good news is sheet masks are still useful --- They plump your skin temporarily, long enough for you to go out to dinner or spend a night on the town and look your best. They also make you sit down and take care of yourself for 10 minutes, so the ritual is important too. So far this is the best I've found in the under $2 range for a mask. The next step up after them is TonyMoly, but they're usually $4-5 per mask.
