Review on Dreem II Mesh Series: Black Mesh Ergonomic Office Chair with Chrome Base & Headrest by GM Seating by Kayla Gonzalez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fully equipped but difficult to adjust

This chair is easy to assemble, although the small Allen key doesn't fit in the screws provided (the key from my own kit fits perfectly). Once assembled it's an attractive chair, but the height adjustment of the backrest and armrests isn't the best. The problem is that the height of the backrest and the height of the armrests are adjusted using a ratchet mechanism. If you want one of them to go up a little, just lift it and it will stay. To lower the armrest (or backrest), lift it all the way up and then it falls down. The problem is that if you sit fully in the chair to get good lumbar support, the back height sometimes increases by a click when you stand up. After a few cycles you will reach the upper set point and the backrest will lower. After hours with this chair that drives me crazy. The chair also comes with a headrest. It's comfortable as long as the back stays in place (but it doesn't), so I took it off. This chair just isn't worth the hassle. If there was a way to fix the backrest in the correct position then this would be a great chair and if there was then it isn't in the instructions. I can easily attach it with a deck screw.

Pros
  • The instructions are very simple, you just need to count a few screws and bolts and you can assemble it.
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
