Review on πŸ’‘ Kuject Connectors: Versatile and Waterproof Electrical Solutions by Loud Forrest

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am impressed! suitable for wiring and connector

I needed this kit for a pontoon boat rewiring project. This well-made, thin, clear plastic set contains 200 pieces. (Yes, I counted them all!) Love how the wire gauges were stamped into the metal AND the heat shrink. The heat shrink tubing is THICK and you will definitely need a heat shrink gun. (I don't think a lighter will fit) When the shrink tubing shrinks it will fit snugly over the connector AND the cord. This extra support prevents the connector from bending easily and breaking individual strands. Added a short video on crimping a connector before shrinking. Use smooth crimping dies to avoid piercing the heat shrink tubing. The only issue I had was using the spade connector. I had to use a knife to cut 1/4 inch heat shrink tubing from the end of the connector to use it. This was just a minor inconvenience and I like that the heat shrink tubing is now flush with the end of the connector. This keeps water out and also helps prevent accidental shorts in the wired console at the helm. This kit is cheaper and much better than buying 5 packs of similar connectors at an auto parts store. I am impressed!
